Wave Nest / completed September 21st, 2010

Commissioned outdoor mural from the City of Las Cruces
Lions Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico

The Lions Park mural was created with the intent to link the southeast corner of Lions park with the northwest corner of the park. The southeast corner contains a public pool, blue wavey architecture, a giant purple octopus sculpture, etc.. These pre-existing elements were taken into consideration when designing Wave Nest. Utilizing color, form and an idea of water Keep Adding wanted to create a modern abstract design mural that would engadge the minds of locals and artists alike.

"Keep Adding reinvents reality and inspires others to take a fresh look at familiar forms in the world around us. They've encouraged new perspectives on everything from graffiti to ghosts and old adobe. And now, Keep Adding brings a tidal wave of abstract color to high desert country." - S. Derrickson Moore (Las Cruces Sun News)
