We actually maxed out the layers allowed in Photoshop (it was about 1000 layers). The huge size caused all sorts of speed problems so we decided to cut the piece into 7 separate files which allowed us to work on one section at a time. In the end we decided to print each of the seven sections separately and each panel was individually framed. The gold bar was the first object that was drawn and from the gold bar all of these forms are released.
