For the Asia/Pacific market, Nike hired the San Francisco based design firm AKQA to create an innovative site to cultivate Asian youth interest in basketball -- specifically Lebron James. The site was an immersive 3D role playing game featuring video art from cutting edge design shops around the world, and an interesting storyline akin to Japanese RPGs. Steve Mason was responsible for managing a team, hiring freelance artists (12 of them, including Keep Adding), programming, and art direction for this massive project.
