Long awaited release on Miami's Schematic label, and exclusively available on Bleep.com is this brilliant collection of remixes of legendary percussionist Glen Velez. The roll call of contributors include Atom, Chris Clark, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Murcof, Jan Jelinek, Richard Devine, Leafcutter John, Subjex, Freeform, Bradford Reed, Erorsmith, Lowres, Otto Von Schirach, Nick Forte and Pita.
External Combustion was originally designed as a collectible limited edition 6 panel gatefold Vinyl release. In the end the physical release never saw the light of day and the album is only available as a digital download. The move towards digital only releases is an unfortunate situation for those of us who still appreciate the tactile aspect of collecting records and CD's.
