The Art of Dying Alone, CD, 2010
"What separates bvdub's work from many other producers working in the same field is that something feels like it's on the line. There's no concept, no explanation that needs to be given about the materials used in its construction. Brock van Wey seeks to create a direct line with the listener. It's emotional, and nakedly so. What else would you expect from a guy who titles songs "I Knew Happiness Once" and "Wish I Was Here"?" - Todd L. Burns, July 2010
Keep Adding's second collaboration with Glacial Movements Records. The Art of Dying Alone at first invoked ideas of solitude and darkness but upon further thought the art direction took a more ethereal turn. We designed the album with the intent of making it feel like the art of dying alone can be a a beautiful thing. Upon hearing the full release we feel the direction matched the albums intention.
